I’d like to officially announce that I’m in love with the south of France – if I wasn’t sure before, I am 100% positive now. The first few steps into Marseille, it’s a little bit run down and strange and you’re not really sure what you’ve gotten yourself into, other than the fact that it was only €2 to get here. Walk a little bit further and you’re greeted with the beautiful port and now you’re not really sure you want to ever leave.
Bonjour tout le monde! I genuinely CANNOT believe that I am finally in Aix-en-Provence – studying abroad in France has been a dream of mine ever since I visited Paris and started college, and after months of what seemed like bad news, I finally made it! The south of France has been more than I could’ve dreamed for and more.
This past Thanksgiving break, I was fortunate enough to get the chance to visit the Netherlands on a school trip. I remember my heart thumping and hands fidgeting as I waited for the clock to hit 8PM to register for the class everyone wanted, and I couldn’t believe my luck when I had managed to snag one of the 18 spots.
